Hair Growing Back
Hi All,
I am on my last paclitaxel chemo next week and staring to look beyond the chemo bad ass.
I am just completing 8 courses of dose dense chemo - 4 xAC, 4x Paclitaxel and am wondering how long it took for others to grow their hair back. I know this is assuming it has grown back sufficiently, as some women are unlucky with hair regrowth.
Just hoping you can share you experiences of when your hair grew back enough to actually feel like you had enough to do something with and any changes in your hair regrowth from before chemo.

#sorrynotsorry - This thread has gotten very silly but just in the tmi range - Mine was eradicated but is now growing back as an arrow pointing down - no photos!
- @Joannie u have been through the wringer!! Do u get many side effects with the arimidex? I got diagnosed with IDC and there was lots of DCIS in there too in January - CT and lymph nodes clear and margins clear. ER & PR+ and HER- Oncologist said I would definitely have to go on hormone blockers, no need for radiotherapy and chemo was up to me and she said she would be happy with whatever decision I made. Went through all the percentages and decided because of age and to prevent recurrence would go for it. 4 round of TC 3 weeks apart with only 1 to go now thank god!!

- @Joannie - I won’t be going on to that but I will be going on to tamoxifen most likely when I finish chemo so that is the next joy. When do you start on your herceptin? You have to have that and an injection or infusion?
- @SoldierCrab that explains the bald left armpit. Oh well, I have always gotten bored with my hair so it looks like all the hair on my body will be a work in progress for the next few years. We did think my fur nurse was a Russian blue x when we first got her but as she got older we decided she was an abbysinian x instead. She has quite the personality!!
@Joannie that is just crazy!! I’ll have to look for that movie.
@kmakm round 3 sucked but I am on the homeward stretch.
