Hair Growing Back
Hi All,
I am on my last paclitaxel chemo next week and staring to look beyond the chemo bad ass.
I am just completing 8 courses of dose dense chemo - 4 xAC, 4x Paclitaxel and am wondering how long it took for others to grow their hair back. I know this is assuming it has grown back sufficiently, as some women are unlucky with hair regrowth.
Just hoping you can share you experiences of when your hair grew back enough to actually feel like you had enough to do something with and any changes in your hair regrowth from before chemo.
Many thanks,
Jo

- EastmumMemberlashes look great @JJ70! I need to be kinder to my lashes and take the make-up off properly every night otherwise they will definitely crack on me!
@kmakm - ouch! - kmakmMember@"Kiwi Angel" Tender rather than sore. I whack a bandaid on everyday to protect it.
- Kiwi_AngelMember@JJ70 you lashes look fab by the way - I have held on to mine thus far but they are quite short and may well do the way of the eyebrow!!
- Kiwi_AngelMember@kmakm - that looks very sore - I wonder if I still have the nail pleasure to look forward to!!
- kmakmMember@"Kiwi Angel" Indeed...
- Kiwi_AngelMemberHmm interesting - @JJ70 mu right boob and lymph nodes removed and the right eyebrow is sparser!! Feet are about the same for the neuropathy which is thankfully improving.
@kmakm chemo, the gift that keeps on giving. ;) - JJ70Member@Kiwi Angel my left eyebrow was sparser than my right. All the left side was more adversely affected. My left foot with neuropathy and my left eyelashes came out first too. Left boob had the cancer too. You?
- kmakmMemberIt's bloody annoying eh @"Kiwi Angel"? It happened to me as well. Thankfully they came back reasonably quickly.
- Kiwi_AngelMemberJust noticed one of my bloody eyebrows is sparser than the other. WTF why now??! Not happy!!
