Hair Growing Back
Hi All,
I am on my last paclitaxel chemo next week and staring to look beyond the chemo bad ass.
I am just completing 8 courses of dose dense chemo - 4 xAC, 4x Paclitaxel and am wondering how long it took for others to grow their hair back. I know this is assuming it has grown back sufficiently, as some women are unlucky with hair regrowth.
Just hoping you can share you experiences of when your hair grew back enough to actually feel like you had enough to do something with and any changes in your hair regrowth from before chemo.

- @SoldierCrab how funny - 1/2 price though - gotta see the silver lining! How strange that the underarm hair is growing at completely different rates- did u have any radiotherapy to the area??

in hindsight I would of shaved off my fluff on my head if I thought it would of come through more evenly but I just let it go....
In the category of TMI - my Brazilians are charged at half rate as she says even now 5 yrs later it is sparse in the garden and non existent in the left underarm ... only has to tweezer out 1 or 2 hairs every 3rd visit ..... whilst the right side is getting back to normal growth amounts.

@kmakm I’m struggling to envision it - almost need a diagram!! I have noticed all my hair fell out but I have some strange wiry gray/white hairs that have popped up in the undercarriage- chemo has turned my nether regions into an old lady!! - @Joannie :o :worried: :o
