It's warm in Melbourne today so I'm in shorts. I had a shower when I got home from ExMed, and thought I'd run the razor over my legs and armpits. I realised that I hadn't shaved my armpits since 29th August! There was really very little hair in either, but especially the right one (my tumour was in the right boob). A few longish single strands that had clearly been growing since August, but remarkably little. Has a sentinel node biopsy, a wide local excision, a re-excision for margins, chemo, and a double mastectomy and reconstruction done for my armpit hair for good? If so I'll take that as a positive thanks! Or will it eventually regain it's hirsute glory?! I also don't seem to be growing as much leg hair as before. Has this happened to anyone else?
