I think I got to he newbie receptionist at the clinic today. She looked at me then at my picture on the monitor and said "ooh, you had such lovely hair. I hope it grows back the same for you. Sometimes it grows back different"
Just as well I am blasé about my hair or I would have been really upset. The receptionist next to her tried to make up for it by compliments galore but my mind was just thinking about some of the women I have met at the clinic that were devastated when they lost their hair. I was imagining the devastation they would have felt if she said that to them. Fortunately the receptionist next to her picked up on the faux pas and will say something to her later.
