I had mine tattooed on before chemo on the advice of a BC survivor. I am glad I took her up on it. As an 80's teenager, mine were always over-plucked, so with or without BC, this has improved them. My eyebrows are patchy and where the hair is gone, the tatooing at least fills the space with some resemblance of colour and texture. it did hurt a bit, but worth it I think. I think I will probably keep going back and getting it 'touched up every year, as they recommend.
If you decide to get it done, check out some reputable places in your city as the prices can vary. I was quoted up to $1200 by some glam place in Cottesloe here in Perth and ended up paying $450 for a reputable fully qualified cosmetic tatooist who runs her own business. She is going to do my nipple tat as well...whenever that is on the cards in the future!
