Day 20 of 30 Radiation
Hi just wanted to give an update . So far I am still managing a couple of 7kms runs a week using Bodyglide all over my breast and underarm then putting on a soft cotton crop then two heavy duty wire free sports bras (sounds excessive but its working no movent or damage to tender red skin). I have also gotten back into hot flow yoga which is great and cycling if not to tired on weekend up to 60kms.
The panic attacks are still trying to win , which i know is so ridiculous but i am trying Rescue remedy spray, kwells and wiggling my toes and saying awesome stuff to myself.
My routine for skin care has been as soon as out of radiation go into cubicle spray my whole targeted area with La Roche-Posay Thermal spring water and face if overwhelmed, whilst that is settling i sip on some cold water then lather up the area with the excma moogoo. At night i use a Loccitane 48hr almond creme then put my soooo sexy compression singlet on to sleep in. I also spray myself with the thermal water a few times a day depending on what i have done i.e after a run while stretching . I currently have a definite red square on me and slight itching mainly the nipple but no blisters yet thankfully . Not sure if any of this will help anyone but for me personally I have found little information on big breasted 14E women being able to continue running (after seroma drained) ,motion sickness (although i did find info women effected on the .org ste) , panic attacks (especially when you have never had one in your life) and products to use that are not laced with parabens and petroleum.
Only 10 to goooooo

Thanks Cath , i have started back with hot flow yoga and loving it, yesterday and today the guys pumped up the music loud for me in radiation and it helped so much yeahhyyy. I didn't have chemo so I think that's the only reason why I still have some energy to train. Xx

Hi Lyndajma,
Wow I feel good with myself if I do 1/2 walk with a couple of sprints thrown in for good measure let alone the amount of exercise you fit in in one week!!! Congratulations that's a huge effort.
Just thought I would recommend yoga for your panic attacks. Many many years ago I used to be very stressed and would vomit for hours on end during the first day of my period. My doctor recommended yoga and while I laughed I didn't have anything to lose by trying it.
To cut a long story short my yoga relaxed me and got me in tune with my body to the extent that I recognised stress symptoms before they grew unmanageable and have never vomited from stress again. Pretty cool and all without any meds.
I do like the saying awesome stuff to yourself - that's excellent.
All the best.
Xx Cath

I hope it helps Guernys , I try not to ever use anything with mineral oil, petroleum etc and have always moisturised my body after a shower so i hope its all made my skin keep it together. And best wishes for your rads too xx

You could try the Rite Aid brand hydrogel discs ( in the baby aisle at Coles/ Woolies), very good for nipple itch/discomfort/pain. You store them in the fridge and they are cool and comforting :)
