chemo

Hi. I am new to this website. Had surgery last Wed. Wide local excision and axillary clearance. Still cant believe I have been dealt this blow! Im 38 years old with 2 young kids and supportive husband.

I get my results on Wed and expect to be told that I will need chemotherapy.

Just wondering if theres is anyone from Melbourne and any experiences with chemo. Did you choose where to have it? Public or private? Anybody been to the Olivia Newton John centre at the Austin Hospital? I live in the northern suburbs. Any info at all would be most appreciated!

    Thanks Janet for your reply and info. Yes it is hard having to go through this being young. I am only just beginning this journey, and hopefully I get through it like you have. I am assuming you have finished chemo and radiotherapy.

    Its nice to have this website available. I have some very supportive friends, but only someone who is or has gone through this can really understand how I am feeling.
