I have had 2 Chemo FEC. Taken both Emend and Ondansetron for nausea, worked perfectly well to keep nausea level do-able. Can return to natural healthy foods the day after, just small amounts. Feel good by Day 10. Dexmethsone I also take, and got a printout from my Pharmacy to discover it is a Corticosteriod. It helps with inflammation and blocks allergic reactions too. For once in my life Im not experiencing any Allergic symtoms: my personal miracle. I can now smell an item across the room and wondered why while surrounded by flowers in this garden Im not suffering. This could be why Im not having much of an issue so far?! My hair fell out at same stage as yours, and I was a bit of a drama queen about it at first, having been a hairdresser for 20 years in my last Career, but as my friend Teresa said, got over it the day we shaved it. I have to wait for 2 weeks for my wig to arrive now ordered. Had assumed Id have it before I had to go bald and go out. Not to be, but yesterday was my first time out in public, and I dont care now.
