Hello everyone,

This week is my first week as BCNA's new Media Officer - what a wonderful first few day's it has been! 

I'm so excited to get started on the numerous projects we have in the works for 2014, and to hear more from all of our amazing online network members.

Working alongside Laura Crowden I will be in charge of all things media, so please don't hesitate to get in touch if there is anything I can help with.

    welcome but just a little plug if Bcna could include a range of women in their media articles--for eg women who havent had mascetomies and chemotherapy ---i sometimes pick up an article and it would be great to see women with a range of treatment options presented!

    Hello ladies,

    Thank you so much for your warm welcome, it's wonderful to know we have such a supportive group of women in our online network!

    Mona, thank you for your suggestion - we are always keen to hear feedback from our members. We try out best to include a range of women who have experienced varied treatments and journeys as often as possible, however we do rely on volunteers for all our media activities. 

    If you were comfortable and interested in sharing your story in one of our resources or online we would love to hear from you, or if there is anything else we can help with don't hesitate to let me know.
