@Alfie welcome to the club noone wants to join.  Well done for seeking medical advice so quickly.  We do need to listen to our bodies.  Wishing you a speedy recovery for your future treatments.

Well done for acting so promptly on noticing the Dimpling, @Alfie!  Welcome to the Club you probably never thought you'd have to join!   I hope you are recovering well from the surgery.  Make sure you don't do anything too strenuous for the time being - as you don't want a setback.

Yes, it is a total whirlwind & it is totally normal to be scared, angry, teary too - as this diagnosis really mucks with our heads as much as our breasts!  If you need someone to talk to, give our Helpline a bell on 1800 500 258 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.)

Make haste slowly at getting back to your previous exercise levels .... your body will 'let you know' when it is ready.  Just do gentle stuff at the start - like walking the beach xx

Have you received your pathology results yet?  Make sure you get copies of all of your scan/blood/pathology tests .... they should all be sent to your GP as well, in case your Specialist won't give them to you.    Take a trusted friend or family member with you to your appointments whilst going thru your 'active treatment', for both physical and emotional support.  xx. Also consider recording your meetings, as it is easy to miss one bit, whilst mulling over something that was said earlier!
