Just to let you know that we will be going ahead with the upgrade to our IT system tomorrow TUESDAY MORNING (20 December), so the site will be unavailable between 7.30am and midday.
At this time you will not be able to access the site or the network, or make blog posts or comments. If you try to load the site, you will instead see a 'site unavailable due to maintenance' message. This is because it's important that there is no interaction with the database while it's being upgraded (kind of like when you upgrade your home computer).
While you won't see much difference as users when the upgrade is complete, it will make a difference to our ability to keep all our systems running smoothly.
