Hi all, first diagnose of cancer (no family history) already is stage 4 breast cancer that went to lungs and brain. Is there anybody here with success stories so that I can feel inspired and hopefully learn tips for recovery? Pretty please and thank you

Hi @Lu_10 Sending you a great big hug as you wait for a plan. I have not been where you are but a friend I met during treatment had advanced Mets before she knew she had BC. She is now six years in and has treatment when required. There is another group here you can join specifically for people with Mets and you will probably find they will respond much quicker. Is there anyone here who can assist Lu with joining?

    Thank you so much! @Blossom1961
I thought I was in the correct group.
This is actually my sisters diagnose. She’s very overwhelmed with the diagnose and poor prognosis (less than a year) so I’m doing everything I can to find out how to help. 6 years, wow! Amazing

Hi @Lu_10 You are in the right group and we welcome you and are here for all your questions. The Mets group is more specialised and the members don’t always check in on this part of the forum so I thought maybe they could help more. As a support person, things can still get very scary. Take care.

Hi, I was diagnosed Easter last year with triple negative metastatic bc with spots in the bones and liver I’ve been having chemo ever since, I’m on an oral one at the moment and apart from some side affects I’m not too bad, would really like to hear from people with a similar story.
