F/G cup post surgery bras?

Hi everyone. I anticipate my lumpectomy happening in the next few weeks. As a large breasted lady (18F/G) all of my bras are underwire. My lovely Breast Care nurse only has up to E. Any tips on where you got your post surgery bras? Local bra shops have not been overly useful 🤷🏼♀️ Thanks in advance?

I found this was the best, especially after surgery. https://www.debras.com.au/magic-lift-posture-bra1

Hi @Pusskat
I think a comfortable, supportive and soft post op bra for larger breasted ladies is a real gap in the market that needs to be filled ,(so to speak)!
I am 16DD and found the Amoena Frances bra very comfortable post op, but I have found it difficult finding a more 'supportive' soft bra that doesn't irritate/rub my SNL biopsy scar which is on the underarm seam of most bras. (Healed but can be sensitive).
Bras that do up at the front can be easier post op, but I have recently bought two of these in an XL (they also sell an XXL) and I am happy with the softness, comfort and adequate support. Plus they have lining in the cup stopping nipple show through. They are advertised as an everyday bra.

If you find something, please let me know as I feel I have been on a quest since diagnosis in February this year!1 -
As no-one told me any differently, I continued to wear my 16EE bra (underwire) for 12 months after my mastectomy, until I got my prosthesis. Obviously there was zilch friction with my scar, or I would not have done so. My prosthesis pocket bra has no underwire, is excellent in terms of support and comfortable. Probably best to switch but just saying.....☺️1

I’ve looked at those Berlei ones. My problem is if I get ones large enough to fit the girls in, they aren’t tight enough under the bust. 🤦🏼♀️suburbangirl said:Hi @Pusskat

I have tried these previously. They don’t seem to have the coverage and support needed as they are not deep enough across the chest. Thanks anyway.kmakm said:0 -
Hi @Pusskat
Both of those look very comfortable and perfect for what you need. Plus if you require radiotherapy, they are easy on and off, as well as for applying cream throughout your treatment. Wishing you the very best with your surgery!1 -

Unfortunately only go up to DDD cup ☹️kmakm said:0 -
It says they will customise to any size. Might be worth shooting them an email to ask. K xox1

I went to brava and bought wire free from them. Because of swelling I think I went up more(hard to envisage) but it happened. If your interested message me and I will try to find them and give you some more details.0
