Hello ladies

Thank u for all the info. It really helps! Spoke with my GP today and she told me my cancer is low in the malignancy scale and not really aggressive. Lets hope she's right and the little bugger doesn't change 'hats'. She has arranged for me to be on Dr Bennett at the PA Hospital (Brisbane) patient list as he's into genetics so may help my sisters in the long run. As anybody been a patient of his? Would love to know whether he knows his stuff.

I have not been a patient of Dr. Bennett  but my sister was in the early 90's and only just recently stopped seeing him as she now lives on the Sunshine Coast. Her daughter (my niece) currently gets her check done with him. My sister has heaps of praise for him, she had her mastectomy at the PA. She has been cancer free for 18yrs now. He also looked at our genetics, I was No.7 since our maternal grandmother. Hope this helps, all the best,

    Hazel xx

    Hi Hazel

Thenk u so much for replying. It'nice to know that I'll be in good hands. So much of it is out of my control I feel just that little bit of knowledge about my doctor gives me some focus. So glad to hear ur sister is doing well. My sister now has issues with one of her ovaries. Poor bugger is currently recovering from breast reconstruction and now has to deal with that. Got to wonder who's dealing the cards 'upstairs'.
