BCNA member Karen Hitchings will be the focus of a breast cancer story. Karen underwent breast cancer surgery just six weeks ago and on Sunday will be running the 10km race at the Melbourne Marathon to raise funds & awareness for BCNA.
Karen was diagnosed with breast cancer in February this year aged 43. Her paternal grandmother died of breast cancer at 42 and her mother also had breast cancer in her 80s.
Huge thanks to Karen for both fundraising for BCNA and also sharing your persronal story to raise awareness.
