Exercise and Eating
Does anyone have any good ideas for motivating me into a good eating and exercise plan. My head is all for it but the rest of me is not as motivated 🤪. I’m working full time and using Lite n Easy but I’m still eating the treats ( emotional eating) and not really exercising. I’m 57 and I’m too young to give up.....I’m ready for any suggestions xx1.2KViews0likes32CommentsSoy products and aramatose inhibitors
I was wondering if there is any research about issues with soy products with aramatose inhibitors? I know the cancer council recommend moderation for women on tamoxifen but are there issues with femera? I have a soy cappacino most days as seemed to have developed an issue with milk since chemo. Few places sell almond milk options but most have soy. Any info greatly appreciated. Kath793Views0likes15CommentsSupermarket Deliveries
Hey @BCNA, I've got a friend having AC who lives alone. Coles have cancelled her online deliveries saying they're reserving them for the vulnerable and at risk members of the community. But her immune system is very compromised. She's exactly a person who should not be exposed to the risk of Covid19. How does she get through to Coles or Woolies that she should be on the list? Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! K xox @Giovanna_BCNA @Riki_BCNA @Rosie_BCNA @Kirsten_BCNA715Views2likes20CommentsConfused about eating and drinking
Morning all, I have seen different things on what is good to eat to help keep you going and to keep stronger, and also about drinking alcohol if you should stop all together or have 2 a day? your help is appreciated thanks in advance, Cheryl650Views1like20CommentsImmunity Boosters
@Flaneuse @viking1 @arpie I thought this topic deserved its own thread! A discussion on another thread has got me thinking about my immune system as well as the characters above. I've been concentrating on my gut as research is increasingly showing that gut health rules the health of so many other areas of the body, including the brain. And boy does my brain need help after the last few years! I might add some immunity boosters into the mix to bolster my post-chemo system as we start winter. Probably all the drugs I had with the BMX & recon haven't helped either. I eat really healthily, but what would you warrior womyn suggest?! What has worked for you?648Views1like35CommentsTake the pledge to eat more veg
