I am 77 and after 10 weeks of chemo have been offered a right mastectomy and a "clip" under local and then lumpectomy for the left breast. I am tending towards a double mastectomy. Ive had a stage 1 "invasive ductal carcinoma" removed and 1 lymph node. Got clean margins and not spread to lymph nodes. HOORAY! I KNOW IM EXTREMELY BLESSED to have got it so early! Hi all. So everytime I get up from laying or standing, I am hurting everywhere. It's ok once I get going though. Why so stiff? I'm nearly 6 months post chemo. Does it get better?
