Newly Diagnosed
Hi, I was diagnosed with an aggressive stage 3 BC on Dec 20th by mammogram, ultrasound and core biopsy's. I thought it was a cyst, as it was hard and painful ( similar to a mastitis feel). The following day I had CT and Bone scans that showed it to be a localised cancer, thankfully. As the tumour is quite large 5-6cm I…

Taking control of your diagnosis
Recently I was diagnosed with BC along with all the other lovely women on this forum and I guess felt the same shock and horror as every one else too! Four months on and following a lumpectomy which was not at all a bad experience I feel great, after a recent pet scan revealed no cancer in the lymph nodes ( as I had opted…

On a lighter note...Feeling finally like ME...a New Me....comfortable with my hair..
Losing my hair through Chemotherapy was one of the hardest/emotional things to come to terms with, once I shaved it off, I adapted like a duck to water. Feeling greatful
Yesterday I attended my oncologist appointment feeling very anxious as I recently had a bone scan with not very good results. There were quite a few new areas and deterioration of the hip area. This scan was followed up by CT scans of all the organs including the brain. I was convinced that these results would not be good…
