Surgery Scar

Sorry if this photo is a bit yuck but I was wondering if anyone else had scaring that looks like this. I’m 3 weeks post surgery and stitches have been out for almost 2 weeks. it looked like this straight after surgery, like an indentation and pucker, with stitches of course. My boob is still quite sore, especially if not supported. My nipple is very sensitive too. I’m seeing a BC nurse on Thursday. I was recommended bio oil but it hurts too much to rub on.

    @Kellee i was told not to use bio oil. Far too many bad ingredients. Moogoo is a great alternative or QV cream. X

    I’m seeing a BC nurse from the McGrath foundation tomorrow @Sister The scar is really weird. I noticed after surgery it looked like my nipple was pulling towards my armpit. My surgery wasn’t near my nipple. When I seen my surgeon to get my stitches out I mentioned how sore and sensitive I was, especially my nipple. He said it was strange because of the surgery location. I never got any advise. It was the same appointment I was told I might need chemo so my brain was a bit scattered.

    I'm not sure, @kellee as I can't remember exactly what mine looked like after the first surgery.  But I wouldn't think you should have so much pain that you can't rub the Bio-Oil in.  Have you rung the surgeon's rooms to ask?
