First surgery yesterday lump and sentinel nodes
i had surgery yesterday, and since hoisting myself up in the hospital bed, have felt pain every time I stand. It's sharp and I have to lay down as quick as possible. Does this ease?

Hi Scalena, you don't say exactly where the sharp pain is.I had awful pain around the surgery site/drain site for about 3 days and then it eased off.Pain killers should be helping but tell your nurse or doctor. xx
- Hello Scalena My first query is - have you asked the ward staff exactly how to lift yourself ? You may be lifting the wrong way. Please do check that. Hoping you have a restful sleep and are soon on the way to a good recovery. Summer :-)

I didn't have that sort of pain after my operation, but everyone is different. Have you had it checked out by a doctor? Its probably nothing but I would get it checked to be safe.
