Baby after breast cancer
Hi Ladies,
I was diagnosed with TNBC in April. I have had a lumpectomy & nodes removed from my right arm. I have 4 weeks left of chemo, then 6 weeks of rads straight after & waiting on genetic testing.
Has anyone out there had a baby after treatment?
If so was there a wait period? I've tried talking to my surgeon & he just says its up to me.
I'm feeling really confused, I really want another baby, but is it silly & selfish as I could have a recurrence?

- Hi Mells, I had triple neg bc in 2008 and was told to wait at least 2 years before having a baby. I waited 3 years before getting pregnant and had my son in 2012. I had him naturally, no IVF and I had AC chemo and taxol. Good luck xox Lisa
- Hi there! I'm TBNC too, but I've had my kids so really, this is just to say hi. I'm 6 years strong despite the odd hiccup, and I was diagnosed when my youngest was 4. There's some great resources here, so jump in.
