Whoop whoop, chemo done and dusted!

The relief and joy is so overwhelming when you complete your last round of chemo.  All my family and friends cannot believe how happy I looked in this photo.  I now just have to get through the next week of side affects which up until now have been pretty mild accept for the achy body and fatigue, loss of taste and a bit of constipation.  The ongoing hot flushes day in night in has been my biggest bug bare.  When I saw my oncologist on Friday she said that the chemo had probably triggered the parymanopause in manopause so she is enrolling me into a manopause workshop which was really nice of her to offer me.  I am hoping that I can get some valuable info and tips from it,   I hope this will be all this round too.  I will then have about a months break before starting 6 weeks of radiation and start the hormone therapy of temoxidan.   There is light at the end of the tunnel for me now and it was lovely to hear on Friday from the oncologist that you do not have breast cancer any more, what we are doing now is treating you to prevent it from coming back.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend and are loved and spoilt tomorrow for Valentine's Day.

Hufs from the wes,

Sue ????
