TC Chemotherapy
Had Round 3 of TC chemo on Monday morning. Bone aches arrived like clockwork on Thursday night, but now on Friday, I seem to have lower back pain and hip pain for the first time as well. Is this normal? I have been walking 1.5 - 2 kms each day this week.
I am finding the variety, and variance, of side effects, to be weird. For example, Round 1, a little nausea, Round 2, a lot, Round 3, none so far.

- @kmakm - Im ok with the hair loss as it was never intact enough to not wear a hat, cap or wig for quite a long time - just have to wait for the short/bald bits to catch up with the long bits ;-). Not so happy about the armpit, let and lady garden hair starting to make a reappearance - that was the only good thing about chemo!
- @"Kiwi Angel" That first post chemo eyebrow pluck was very joyous for me! That's a bummer about losing so much hair so late in the piece Steph. K xox
- I think I have lost more hair in the last week (I did the cold cap so kept about 50% of it but the other hair is growing back and I had to pluck an eyebrow hair the other day. I have lost big toenails before due to them cracking for some reason and a new one grows underneath it and pushes the old one off - quite gross but hopefully you will have a new nail soon!
- Kmakm it's a bugger not knowing what's going to be affected next or how. At least no more is going into our system. It's a bit like a shitty dip but we are woman and we are strong, yez. Nothing's going to beat us or rob us of anything. We will adapt. I had the cold cap, and hand mitts, but the toenails are wielook better with nail varnish.

- kmakm, sad but it's gone and that's that. Oh wait, like our hair, it will grow a new one. Get your polish ready. Hope you don't lose anymore, and I hope it's not sore. 4 months after my last chemo nothing untoward had happened, so I am applying my mascara and thought, mmmm I don't think I have a full set of lashes. My lovely man said, no they look fine. Well by the end of the week there was one lash hanging on. 2 weeks later there was a bit of a fuzz happening and within a month they were back. In the meantime I laid on the eye-liner and also applied it to my upper waterline and I managed to look reasonable
- @Sister Actually not, so far! I had a gentle wobble of the rest. A few others are slightly loose but the big one on on my right foot is really loose... :s

I never lost them, just gross discoloration for about a year. - @"Kiwi Angel" Yes! Trivial in the greater scheme of things but really annoying nonetheless.
