TC Chemotherapy

Had Round 3 of TC chemo on Monday morning. Bone aches arrived like clockwork on Thursday night, but now on Friday, I seem to have lower back pain and hip pain for the first time as well. Is this normal? I have been walking 1.5 - 2 kms each day this week.

I am finding the variety, and variance, of side effects, to be weird. For example, Round 1, a little nausea, Round 2, a lot, Round 3, none so far.

    Thank you @Zoffiel. OK. So expected then. Sigh.

    Not having any shots currently. Blood counts are falling but still acceptable.

    Maybe I'll get my GP to recommend a physio.

    The bone pain on that day was, for me, always associated with the Neulasta shot.

    Unfortunately, Docetaxol also attacks your muscles and ligaments--its hard on the fascia which surround the muscles and merges with the tendons that attach to the bones. Hope I got that right.
     Anyway, for some people, the damage is cumulative and the effects seem to kick in around, or just after, your 4th treatment. It feels like the fascia tighten and snap back to that position with great determination even after you've exercised or stretched. It seems the bigger the muscle,the more it hurts-- or so my physio explained. I felt it most in my upper thighs, hips and bum. All the advice seems to be keep moving, but be mindful your chances of injury are higher so go easy. The gift that keeps giving. This is a shit of a disease.
