  • @Cassina I stopped at ten but was prescribed 12. I had to stop as neuropathy in my feet was getting so bad I was having trouble walking. My oncologists said it was common for people not to finish the full treatment. Side effects can be permanent so I stopped before the side effects got any worse.
  • @Cassina I only had to have 8 Taxol after 4 FEC but my Oncologist also told me too that if there was too much tingling or numbness in my hands or feet they would stop. So don't worry too much if that's the case. Hugs M xx
  • All good Cassina, I am nearly 5 years from diagnosis and I am cancer free...

  • HI I only  managed 6 before severe neuropathy .... I am now nearly 5years on with no disease.

  • Hi @ Cassina, I managed all 12 but my oncologist did mention stopping at 10 if side affects were unmanageable. Neuropathy can be permanent.  2 ladies I did chemo with stopped early so it is quite common. I know someone who stopped at 4 so don't worry if you have to.
