Stopping Taxol early
Has anyone stopped taxol early? my Oncologist says I can go to 10 instead of 12 due to side effects tingling sore fingers and pain in breasts after surgery, Thoughts?
Hi @ Cassina, I managed all 12 but my oncologist did mention stopping at 10 if side affects were unmanageable. Neuropathy can be permanent. 2 ladies I did chemo with stopped early so it is quite common. I know someone who stopped at 4 so don't worry if you have to.
