I have always had a tender spot on my ribs since my mastectomy 81/2 months ago. I know the surgeon had to scrape this area to get a clear margin so this has been explained as the reason for the tenderness. I also have scaring and fibrous tissue in this area which probably affects it too. It took a physio and two doctors to convince me this area is not anything to worry about! It has been stirred up by radiation also. If you are concerned get it checked out so you can put your mind at rest. Deanne xx
