Radiation burns

happy Sunday everyone !

im starting to feel a little excited as I now have only 4 more weeks (out if 20) to go with chemo.
then I have a break for two weeks and then 25 radiation sessions. At about 1/2 way into the rads I have a wedding to go to and wanted to start looking for a dress to wear as something to look forward too. How bad will my burns be? Am I best looking for something that covers up the breast and underarm area in case I have dressings in etc ?

    That's what I keep hearing so might be nice if you don't have to worry about it.

    @Sister it’s a long haul isn’t it ! Just the thought of not having to go every week for treatment makes me smile ! I didn’t even think of that about the sun - it will be late afternoon but still our skin is sensitive isn’t it..

    I've no experience of radiation (or chemo, yet) but you must be so excited about almost finishing chemo!  Is the wedding during the day?  If you're going to be outside you may want to cover up anyway so that you don't have to worry about sun.
