Thank you very much for all the info. I am a public patient and they have said 1 night in hospital follwed by 4 days of visits from the Silver Chain nurse to check my drains. I am an Admin and Accounts Manager and I work alone in the office. I am able to do my job from home for a week if needed. I have my mum and daughter staying with me for a week or 2 and I will rest and behave so I can get back to work quickly....too much time off work isn't an option financially. I am very positive and feel I will heal well and get through this without too much bother :) I may be dreaming but time will tell.
