Letrozole
Hi All
I have recently changed tablets from Arimidex to Letrozole as was having terrible side effects. Hopefully side effects won't be so bad on these new tablets!! One thing that has happened since I started taking the Letrozole is bad night cramps in my legs. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you deal with it? I am not a happy camper at present! Have a great night

- Brenda5MemberI went off the Tamoxifen straight on to Letrozole the next day. Bad idea. It was like I was double dosed or something. I left it a week and then went back on the Letrozole and so far it has been good.Sign in to react to this post
- Doin_itMember@kitkatb same. I’ve had to shave my legs a few times & my arms are resembling spider legs everywhere 😂Sign in to react to this post
- kitkatbMemberYeah @Doodoo I lost just over half of them on both sides like the outside half looked really odd. But they come back quickly. Just looking at my legs today and thinking might have to give them their first shave in months today.Sign in to react to this post

- SisterMemberI had aching legs in the evening on letrozole which I have been taking since 9/8/18 - similar to during chemo. That went on until a couple of weeks ago. Now, it appears to have stopped. My hands aren't as sore now, either. I don't know if it's a different brand or I've just settled in, or just an anomaly.Sign in to react to this post
- BlondyMemberI've been on Letrozole since the beginning of May and can't say I've noticed anything too bad. I have been a migraine sufferer on and off for nearly 50 years but I do now get very quick onset headaches which ordinary painkillers won't touch. The only way at present is to take another dose after an hour instead of waiting 4 hours. Our band had a gig when I got a headache before I left home, took 2 painkillers an hour later at the venue I went to a nearby chemist who couldn't suggest anything stronger as 6 months ago laws were changed which meant nothing stronger available without a script so he said it would be ok to take another dose Miraculously the headache went I suppose all of us react in different ways with certain similarities to these ongoing hormone treatments. I'm just grateful that we at least have them. It's all a bugger isn't it.Sign in to react to this post

- Doin_itMemberSo far so good on Letrozole, but it has only been 4 weeks. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I have started losing my eyelashes & eyebrows 8 weeks after tc. Did anyone else?Sign in to react to this post
