Thanks Maria. Thats a great suggestion. I downloaded Kathy Freston's wellness meditation onto my phone and do it sometimes, but I think I need to amp it up and join a group of like people. Up until I really did not feel ready to talk to "like" people as it becomes that only thing you have to talk about. But I'm starting to want to fall asleep in the car on the way to pre school run and that now worries me.
Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it

jackjomaxi,
I have found meditation to give me balance and energy. I have been doing pilates for 3 years and thought I would continue with this but half way thru my chemo I have found it way too draining. Everyone is different. So meditation is my thing now. The cancercouncil has some free cds to help you get started.
I went to a cansupport meditation group, we meet every monday, I met some lovely ladies that have all been in my head space. My first day at meditation was what I call my emotional week. I was in tears when I got there, felt really silly, was handed some tissues and introduced to the other ladies.
You may not think its for you, and it can sometimes take a few times before you get the feel for it. If you fall asleep through the meditation it's okay as when you wake you feel quite refreshed.
Hope this helps you as much as it has helped me.
All the best, Maria333
Thanks Leonie
