- kmakmMemberPrunes, warm prune juice, pears, pear juice, baked beans, lots of fluid. Movicol, Coloxyl with Senna, Osmolax. I managed with various combinations of the above to just keep my bowels ticking over during chemo. But only just. It was a big battle...Sign in to react to this post
- onemargieMemberHi there @Trikki2. Constipation is shit isn’t it (pardon the pun)!! The week of chemo I took coloxyl and senna x 2 tablets every night and would shit like a trooper the next morning. The second week I’d just need to take the one. Movivol works a treat too if you can tolerate it. You can take a couple sachets no worries but I couldn’t drink it even the flavourless stuff made me gag. Don’t let it get too bad and see your dr ASAP if you don’t get any relief from either of them ok. Margie xxSign in to react to this post
