- Blossom1961MemberI have to take nulax everyday at the moment. Looking forward to stopping it but increased fibre in my diet doesn’t seem to work. I am four months post chemo but still on herceptin.
- Kiwi_AngelMember@Sister this is something newish for me 8 months in. This may be in the realm of TMI but I have always been a regular once a day girl. Now I’m not going properly every day and feel like I’m doing about a 1/4 of what I should be :(
- SisterMemberI've experienced slight ongoing constipation as well - another glorious side effect?
- Kiwi_AngelMember@JulieVT11 I found a couple of packs of mint tea so will give that a go xo
- JulieVT11Member@"Kiwi Angel" peppermint tea and buscopan are good for bloating. I was diagnosed With Coeliac disease about 12 months ago and was constantly bloated so bad, so if I accidentally get glutened now the tea is my first go to for relief.
- Kiwi_AngelMember@primek I don’t really have dairy since I have been vegan in the past. Occasionally cheese but apart from that all my “dairy” is coconut or almond based. I wish I had loose bowels at the moment might make me abit more comfortable. Feel like a balloon.
- primekMemberI developed lactose intolerance since chemo. If I have dairy I swell up tight, can have lots of wind...and sometimes loose bowels. It's worse if constipated as the wind is trapped. Might be worth considering if it happens after dairy foods.
- Kiwi_AngelMemberThanks ladies @kmakm that’s another thing the chiropractor told me - fermented foods - love kraut which is good
- kmakmMember@"Kiwi Angel" Kombucha, kimchi & sauerkraut will all help your gut health.
