Arimidex
I have been reading through the blogs about Arimidex and found them very interesting. I have been on Arimidex for 6 months and up until 4 weeks ago, "side affects free" - until now that is.
I now have what appears to be the usual aches and pains in the legs and numbness in the hands, tiredness and headaches, so I guess I didn't escape at all I am just like all my other Arimidex sisters.
I will have to mention this to my oc next visit, but as so many others have said before at least I am here reading the experiences of others. It does help.

I have had it once before, & found it very beneficial. If you go through your GP and ask for it, they go through various things ( like a serious of questions to "measure your level" of depression/anxiety, then get the ball rolling about referring you to someone. This is the easiest way. Lets know how you go. Take care Love from Kathleen xSign in to react to this post

Hi Kathleen -I agree to the scrolling -and have seen it 'both ways' due to being relatively new to this site. Older posts are certainly very good and I've picked up a lot of hints and helps through them . However..you I do get a message that a new comment has been sent and I had previously deleted these as all comments seem to be old! I am going to chat to our Perth coordinators (the lovely Michelle & Chris) and see if they can give the hint that newer posts would be better first -am not very computer literate myself so don't know how difficult this would be ...but there are plenty of tech smart people there that could help I'm sure!
In the mean time..I've found some of the bits about needing emotional help good -I get very down and do need to see someone who knows so am going to contact the local Cancer Council?? would that be who I try?...sometimes the brave face needs to give in to a crack or two so maybe help is needed!
cheers, Sue

Might be good to write a letter and explain your concerns. It could be that it wasn't explained to you sufficiently, or might even be good to get another opinion. Just a thought Congratulations on your recent birthday! Cheers Kathleen xxSign in to react to this post

I agree about the scrolling. I've found a quicker way to get to the latest posts, but it's still a bit cumbersome; just go down to the bottom of the first page and click on the last number (currently 4), this will take you to the last page, and then you just scroll down to the bottom of it (I just drag the bar at the right of the page, it's quicker). Hope this helps :)

Hi Bella,
I have just done a blog on this whole genetic testing, I have started the new blog as I cannot figure how to get to the last page without scrolling through all the other old blogs on this Arimidex blog.
Hope we can start up some information sharing with the new blog. I have a few questions to ask you.
Candy
