- kmakmMember"Surprise twin pregnancy" at 47... I think you are the master of understatement there @Romla!
Yes, I am finding the double barrel of a cancer diagnosis and menopause to be challenging, both mentally and physically. I was still menstruating in November. It's going to take a while to adjust. - AnonymousThe user and all related content has been deleted.
- RomlaMember@kmakm The first time was sudden onset menopause after my first child was born .It was a very difficult time with a new baby and a busy career . After 7 years of menopause I had a surprise twin pregnancy at 47 followed by another 6 months of hot flushes. And now at 64 Letrozole induced hot flushes. Its annoying but life is still good.I do however remember how devastating it was the first time.
- kmakmMember@Romla Three?? :o What a bugger...
- RomlaMemberApologies for my humour but is my survival mechanism - I too have whopper hot flushes but is my third time thru it all - had them at 40 , 47 and now again in my 60s - annoying but as George Harrison said All Things Will Pass. PS Our heating bill should be less this winter !
- kmakmMemberFunny @Romla. Disco Inferno... my bed every night!
- kmakmMemberHot In The City Tonight...
- RomlaMemberMy having hot flushes adds new meaning to some of the tunes I have heard over the years eg “Hot Stuff”Donna Summer.Even the Wiggles “Hot Potato Hot Potato” brings on a laugh. Anyone else got one ?
