Hello lovely ladies !I'm on Tamoxifen for 7 month now.In the beginning everything, except of the hot flushes, was ok.Now my body starts to ache on every 'corner' ... shoulders, fingers, feet, hips, .... everyday a new piece of it.Any ideas what could help ? food, exercise, ... ??

Same here lately but in particular I wake though the night with my hips really aching. Its progressing to my knees now. Don't get me started on the hot flushes lol. Walking will help. If you don't use it you will lose it is my motto.

Drives me nutty! Some days I can walk 2 or 3ks and others I am lucky if I can walk 200 metres - aching legs! I just push it to one side in my mind and get on with my day, some days are easier said than done! As to what can help, not sure! Years ago I suffered from Fibromyalgia (pressure points in the body) and the specialist put me onto Magnesium, which helps with cramps and muscle aches - my aches this time with Tamoxifen are not muscles but bones! Recent full blood test show all my levels are in normal range.Body temperature - I cope okay with that not like you and Brenda are describing, luckily for me! Thank you for your messages.Somehow it's good to read that I'm not alone with this problem - of course it's not nice for all of us ..I'm just struggling sometimes with 'what is normal and what not' and I'm so over it to run to the doctors ;)

Hey Stemi,I had been getting joint pain, leg cramps, etc and was putting it down to Tamoxifen. Like Iserbrown I have started back again on Magnesium (used to take it) and have been exercising weekdays (been lazy on weekends :D) and have found that my knees are not as sore and less cramps. Whether it's due to the magnesium or the exercise I don't know but it's good and I'll stick with it because of the change. Am also eating a lot healthier too, although still have my special Friday night treat. Hope you can get rid of the aches, they're the pits!! Xx
