Hi! Hope you are feeling a little better today!
Have you had a Lung Function test before? I am a full-time carer for my sister. She has these on a regular basis and are a good guide as to where she is at. At her worst she was 25%, now 3 years on with perseverance with the Physio and us she is at 55% - probably as good as it will get! We have eliminated her cause however the damage to her lungs won't change. It's the exercise, mainly walking, sit to stand exercises, light weights that have made the big difference! Her Oxygen levels vary but sit around 93% sometimes a little better!
Hopefully for you it is more about the seasonal changes at present, lots of pollen in the air et cetera
Take care
iserbrown Never had one before never got this bad. But the wind and pollen seem to be worse this year. Hopefully it turns out to allergy based. Ive been sitting at 91% to 95% depending on what ive been doing. it was the high temperature that got the Drs worried but when my neutrophils st at about 1.3 when jot on Palbo any infection is not great

I hope that you have an Oxygen Meter Reader on hand (most chemists have them available to purchase) ..... as it is surprising how 'high' the number is 'showing' .... but you still need immediate attention!A 'normal' reading is between 95-100%, an 'acceptable' reading is between 90- 95% (take warning, anything below 92% is considered 'alarming' ....)
Yep, the High Temp (with or without the 'readings' is always of most concern xx
Take care, & I hope your levels remain stable xx

arpie its certainly been an interesting couple of weeks thats for sure. We do have a meter, having asthmatics in the house we have all sorts of breathing aids as well. I thought it was reading wrong. My apple watch was not quite accurate enough. It does say not to rely on the results as an accurate reading. I should have realised that I wasn’t just having more re hot flushes than normal had to hunt down the thermometer. It was when i started shivering that i twigged to it being not normal.

Golly Gosh - your temp would already have been pretty high before you started shivering! :(
Maybe take your temp morning & evening, & keep a record of it (I did with hubby.) Just to see if there is a pattern when it starts to rise. xx.
If it hits 38˚ (normal temp is about 37.5˚) ... you know you need to hit the "HELP" button!!! Don't wait for it to go higher!!! xx
But it can be the combination of the oxygen uptake as well as the high temp - even tho each can be independent of the other!!If EITHER of them going LOW (Oxygen) or HIGH (Temp), call the ambos! xx
