It's been a few days and though yesterday Wednesday was in comparison a good day with little pain I thought today would be better but I instead it proved to be a really painful afternoon on both sides...

I'm so very sorry to read about your diagnosis and predicament. It seems like you've had a very rough ride, but I'm glad to read that you have a strong and loving husband who is by your side at this difficult time.
You have definitely come to the right place with your questions. I am unable to answer them but I know someone on this network will have the answers you are looking for.
