I have mets and have started on Tamoxifen to slow down the mets on my hip while I have radio on my chest and left lymph nodes, then they'll do radio on the hip , side effects have been horrible, hot flushes, sweats , nausea and additional pain all over my body, obviously Dr's see these as sides effects as minimal compared to having cancer reoccur, but once it has already spread why can they just recommend you take one of the other drugs, or is it standard procedure to issue Tamoxifen first, any thoughts ????( ps chemo resistant and already had bilateral mastectomy )
