Can tamoxifen cause extreme fatigue
Hi
i have just stared tamoxifen, only been on it for a week. I came home from work yesterday and was pretty tired, today haven’t been able to get out of bed and feel like a total zombie. I have pretty much worked all the way through treatments and though I was going so well. Finished rads 17th October, have had chemo and surgery, already. Could it be radiation fatigue?? Tamoxifen?

- Yes it can and if you over do things you get past exhausted and cannot shut down and sleep. Now if I am flagging I just go and have a 20 minute lay down. It beats fighting it for hour after hour.

- The radiation can cause fatigue - it varies from one to another @Spillsy .
The rads could take a good 4 weeks to recover from (including the very warm bread/chest area.)
Combined with the Tamoxifen - it could be accumulative.
