- Great season for my summer garden beds. The Hydrangea keeps giving as well as the daises, calla lilies, budelias et cetera
- Just picked these lilliums today. Beautiful.
- hehe, I don't have a green thumb at all, @gumnut - my brother (surprisingly) got into plants & orchids just in the last 20 years & now LOVES growing ANYTHING from seed that he has collected himself ...... and the frangipani is one of his!! He's even been selling some on Gumtree!
We had a very hot & humid Xmas/Boxing day & been raining ever since ..... so no watering for us, either just now ....
I've been self pollinating the Day Lillies tho, in the hope they set seeds ..... ;) - Beautiful colours @arpie !

Our day Lilies are out

Over the past few months I have been potting some plants and have a little avocado which I grew from a seed, some chillis also from seeds and a few herbs and a dwarf lemon which is coming along. I also tried a little pot of succulents. I've been able to give my family some of the herbs and another avo. :) <3 - Hello @Julez1958Gardens take many forms, whether they be large expansive green lawns to courtyard gardens with plants in pots. They do give us pleasure and relieve stress.When we moved to our bush block I had expansive plans of 5 acres of lush tropical vegetation. Well 24 years later there is about one acre, however that one acre gives me much peace. I do wish that garden shows on tv did not show large lush expansive gardens that give the impression that the work is all done by one or two gardeners. There is not enough emphasis on small gardens.Enjoy your courtyard garden - it's yours.
