Just a bit stressful
Wonder if it's just me or is it that the Xmas and holidays seem to get a bit stressful seems that things get you down at this time of year or is it that this bc journey makes us look differently at things? Seems that people have to cope with more at this time . Maybe I've had too much chocolate and am on a downer lol.. Just thought I would ask and get a few thoughts on how others feel. I've got a visit to radiation dr coming up so suppose all this par for the course. Thanks Deb

You are never alone on here Deb. As I know there is always someone somewhere who is there for you.

I found that I am now able to talk about some of the times throughout that last year that I just couldn't talk about before and I usually end up in tears, but not sad tears, tears that are cleansing and happy to be alive.
I too reflected over the differences between christmases but overall I don't think that was stressful more cathatic. What journey we have all been on together, it creates a bond between women that may never have interacted before.

- Janey235MemberThe lead up to Christmas was a bit stressful for me as it was this time I was diagnosed (20th Dec 2012). This Christmas brought memories of the last and I had mixed emotions on the day. Sadness at the memory and what heartache it caused my family and happiness that it was all but over now. So I had times where I'd cry either with grief or happiness. I think too that after going through all our treatments and being thrown into menopause, our hormones are all over the place and it's hard to get our emotions under control. I cry at ads on TV and I cry when I'm happy too. Oh well I just have to get used to being a bit of a sop. :) Janey xxx
