Zoladex Implant- painful?

Just wondering if anyone has experience with Zoladex? Does it hurt on insertuon?

Ive been prescribed it following the egg retrieval process and doing my first chemo. Im doing my 2nd one this friday and my oncologist and IVF specialist decided to add this on.

I havent been provided a lot of info about it as well so any on that would be great too!

Sounds like good advice @"Scared Mum" . I hate needles.. i had no choice when i did all the hormone injections for the egg freezing process! Ive had so many needles the past 2 months but i still cant get over the anxiety of them
  • Hi  my daughters advice is to get Emla cream "the real brand not the cheappy" follow the instructions to a t and she says it is really painful with out it.. But everyone is different and she is a sook when it comes to needles  :'(
The first couple of injections she had a bit of cramping like period pain but panadol and a heat pack helps  but she has been on it a year now and has no side effects.
    Hope that helps   <3
  • Hi the injection is not painful as long as they give you a numbing injection first.
