Good evening all you lovely ladies, Tantrick you are the only person that I have been able to come across and thank you so much for reaching out to me.
I had my bilateral mastectomy surgery in October and am having awful trouble with my legs, numbness, nerve pain, associated leg swelling, like you I have been trying to walk more on my treadmill to see if that helps and increase my fitness, but at the moment I am fairly fatigued, I am having Chemo which will be completed in 6 months, then Radiation
After your email at least now I know that this is not irreparable,that there is light at the end of the tunnel if it was not for this constant leg pain I would be happier and coping much better, I must be a pain to live with, not my happy self.
Tantrick as least you have given me some hope that this will resolve for that I thank you.
Mumj22 thank you for organising or at least calling out on my behalf.
From the bottom of my heart thank you all for rallying for me.

Hi, I had bilateral mastectomy with immediate TUG reconstruction Sept 2017 and fat grafting Sept 2018, waiting for hopefully my final surgery. I have responded to this msg via FB, but I can share again...I had bad nerve pain and the feeling of hot knives stabbing into my legs. I still have uncontrollable tics at times. I am currently trying to increase my fitness levels hoping that will help. It took me a good 6 months to feel any type of normal...hope this helps a bit...when I had my surgery I couldn't find many resources either, I did not have chemo...but also had invasive lobular Stage 2...lumpectomy Dec 2014 the 36 radiation zaps. I had my surgery done prophylacticly.

Hello for the first time Cupcakes nice to speak to you. ;)
My TUG flap has not gone really well. My donor site got very infected and so did my right breast.
I have had a lot of surgery and debridement to clear the infection, which I can thankfully say we have under control
although I have been left with quite a bit of healing to do. I have had vac machines on my healing sites for 4 weeks and they have been removed just recently thank goodness! so on the improve.
I do still have the pins and needles, swelling and nerve pain in my legs, my breasts have been really quite easy to cope with when compared to the legs.
I suppose I am just really interested in whether anyone else has experienced this type of problem with the surgery.
I am seeing a physiotherapist in the New year hopefully they can help. 
My daughter is getting married in 10 weeks and would I like to feel at least a bit better before then, so much to deal with at the moment, feeling quite overwhelmed.

Hello, i had a DUG flap last year. Same as TUG but they cut the muscle diagonally. My photos are online also.
I had nerve pain in my breasts but not in my thighs for a few weeks but now all resolved. 
Recently had my nipples done and a fat graft. That went well.
