I'm sending this possibly too late.
Tomorrow was the day that I believe you were to have the port and Chemo done,
I was rereading some posts, and just realised that you said about having a Port in your arm.
Mine is in my chest, just under the skin. It would be just outside my bra edge. Sorry I couldn't send the best photo that gives better perspective. ( due to my computer skills) This photo makes it look like it is in the middle of me.
The port is the grey looking circle, the stitch line is where they inserted it. Fresh bruises.
I hope you have had it explained well.
There is another thing called a PICC line. That is in the arm, and has dressings over it all of the time.
