Tender Nails with Chemo
My last and 4th prescribed chemo was 4 April so I am into my third week now.
Towards the start of the last chemo, my fingernails started feeling sore/tender but got better in the first few days of chemo as i was so tired I kept sleeping/napping.
Now I am back to sleeping about 7-9 hours a day and can't really sleep longer. My fingernails and toenails are feeling tender again (probably also build up from chemo 4). Has anyone experienced this and how long did it take to go away? I basically cannot really pry things with my nails which wow I realized i have been taking this for granted all the while lol, still can type but really gently, still can do stuff but feel the tenderness. I hope they won't fall off! I have painted all my nails black most time these few months of chemo.
Been eating well and will keep up hoping my body will repair itself well.
Thanks. xxx
