Tender Nails with Chemo
My last and 4th prescribed chemo was 4 April so I am into my third week now. Towards the start of the last chemo, my fingernails started feeling sore/tender but got better in the first few days of ...
It's the separation of the nail bed that is causing the pain and the nail can actually cone right off. My toenails lifted completely one side but I managed to keep them...even if they grew out a bit deformed. But looking better by the months. Hopefully they won't fall off but be very careful with them. Use scissors to open everything you can. Best of luck. Kath x
