My husband was out when I shaved it off. He didn't even know I was going to do it that day. It was a spur of a moment decision for me.
When he came home I was wear a beanie and I told him I finally shaved my hair off.
He wanted to see it so I took my beanie off and he very supportive and told my how wonderful I looked. He also was a bit disappointed that I did it without him there because he wanted to help me shave it and didn't want me to do it on my own. I think he was worried how I would be emotionally and if I got upset he wanted to be there for me, but I was the opposite, It made me feel so much better and even now I don't regret it. Even my 3 teenage boys were ok with it, they wanted to see my clipper cut as well and they were very supportive as well, they even went out and bought me a really nice hot pink beanie.
It was the best decision I made. My hair continues to fall out but because it is short (no. 1 clipper cut) I don't notice it as much.
I have bought myself some lovely hats and beanies so until my hair grows back they will be my headpieces. I'm not a wig person so I won't be buying any of them and soon I'll be attending the Feel good, look good program, really looking forward to that, heard wonderful things about it.
Hope to hear from you again and I sending you lots of big hugs!
