Hi my name is Bel. I just decided to hop onto the website after a long absence to see if I can cheer some one up, now it is 3 years later for me. I see you are at the start and I am so happy for you to have found this wonderful place to be able to reach out and grab emotional support from a large group of people who will make it a hell of a lot easier. It is a shock to all who get bad news from their DR and yes the waiting is the worst. You have just joined a big club and they all experience one thing in common, FEAR. But we can all pass on kind words and I will always be grateful for this BCNA for allowing me to reach out and make friends through a tough time. Every one has an opinion, and advice, so keep an open mind and get ready for lots of help. Learning to do all the "hippie guru" things like deep breathing, shifting your focus and not stressing about every thing is a big key. You will be able to manage so much better for having the great advice from here. So every one has a different story, a different situation and a different out come, and every one handles stuff differently. Take one day at a time, and ask all the right people the important questions. Reach out to every resource available if you can, and the My Journey Kit is a brilliant. Open up and express yourself with your family
Cheers from Bel
